What is prevention? There are many interpretations as to what is prevention. Some believe that an annual physical exam once a year is sufficient for practicing prevention. In finding the ailment pre-maturely, by having annual exams should be sufficient to remain healthy. Others believe an annual exam once a year and just waiting for the ailment to surface so it can be treated is not prevention. Then there are those who believe that once the ailment surfaces, prevention is taking prescription medication to control the ailment. Regardless of those view mentioned one must understand that a proactive approach is needed to remain healthy.

Prevention is doing everything possible to maintain your optimum health. The annual exams are to confirm that you are in optimum health. We must keep in mind that the body has the capabilities of curing its ailment, provided we properly feed the necessary nutrients to nurture the body.

Society today uses certain Rx to maintain the ailments under control, but eventually the side effects breakdowns the body. Each new RX discovery comes with a list of possible side effects greater than the purpose ailment being treated.

Therefore, we must remind ourselves that all medication is derived from nature and the body needs nutrients to repair it. The combination of both medicine and nutrients is needed to bring balance. The annual exam provides the report to monitor the results. With the proper eating habits, exercise, and nutrients supplement one can avoid and cure most ailments.

Is it important to take nutrients supplements on a daily bases not when you are diagnosis with an ailment, but more important when you are healthy. Remember optimum health requires nutrients that our normal diet does not provide. The objective is to remain at our optimum health.
